The Bamboos will headline the Jambalaya Stage at Byron Bay Bluesfest on Sunday April 12th with a live set at 10.30pm. Then roll back the next afternoon for a 1:15pm daytime set! The Bamboos are devastated to hear of the passing of Crescent City Funk/Soul/R&B Legend Eddie Bo. His music has been a huge influence on The Bamboos sound and in 2008 the band experienced the honour and thrill of performing on stage with him at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne. If you haven't checked out Eddie's music it is readily available on itunes and on a whole bunch of Cd Re-issues (or hit ebay for the original vinyl) You need it in your life!!!!
